Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue ellis-taylor, an American actress and screen actor and producer. Her most well-known work is as an actress in films for her performances on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in African-American Studies at Brown University as well as a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue is an actress for theater and film in addition to being producer. Her first job was as a theatre actress later on, she went on to be a part of numerous television series, including mainstream and independent films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and was a part of BET's epic show The Book of Negroes for which she received not just high praise but also many nominations and awards including a Television Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Movie. Her first professional performance was as Ariel, in The Tempest. Her stage credits include the Broadway show of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her film work her most well-known roles are parts like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her role on television in ABC's police drama series High Incident has earned her accolades.
