Linda Edna Cardellini is the daughter of Lorraine (Hernan), a mother, and Wayne David Cardellini (a father) who is an entrepreneur. Linda is Italian via her father's grandfather, Irish through the mother she had, German, English, Scottish as well as German. James went onto portray the role of Countess Natasha Rostova, in the TV version of War & Peace, in 2016. She also appeared in a number of films. These include the action film Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) and the musicals Mamma Mia! And Here We Go again (2018) and Yesterday 2019 Her portrayal of Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 earned her Golden Globes and Primetime Emmy Awards.
